So weekly content, they say that you should be dripping out new content on a regular basis.
Where does it come from? What are these things that you’re suppose to be pushing out?
Google is your friend. Google is awesome because if you… Have you ever noticed that when you start typing in especially on your desktop, on a computer. And also on your smart phone, and you start typing in some words in that Google search bar that it starts to auto complete for you. What that is telling you is Google is telling you what the top search terms are in whatever that question is or whatever those words that you’re using.
Use that to your advantage because you know that if you go and create a blog post or pick the title of your video or a heading on your website that matches exactly what that search term is that you’re typing into Google or basically what people are typing into Google that your piece of content that you generate.
Whether it’s a video, a blog post or some words that you put on your website for webpage is a greater likelihood of appearing on that first page of Google search results compared to somebody else because Google thinks that you have the answer because you have the exact question.
Now, on that note, don’t make the titles of your videos like Welcome To Acne Corporation. We’re totally awesome. We’ve been around for 30 plus years, and you should work with us. That’s not what people are searching for. People are searching for questions and they have a pain point. You have to satisfy that pain point by providing an answer. They’re just looking for answers.
So the way we like to think about it is FAQ. It’s Frequently Asked Questions. If you think about it that way that you’re building up an FAQ library on your YouTube channel, in your website, on your blog post whatever that content maybe.
That gives it a totally different perspective because you’ll realize you’re establishing yourself as a subject matter experts
so that people come to you because you have the answers. And they go “Wow, this guy is awesome. “He’s an expert in that field.” And they’re more likely to go and ask you for actual services at that point because you’ve proven.
You’ve created that trust that you know what you’re talking about. My recommendation is Google is your friend. Use Google to figure out what those questions are that you should be answering on your website. What blog post you should have. What videos you should be creating by playing around with the autocomplete. Seeing what Google tells you, and then as the second note on that. Scroll all the way down. Once you’ve searched for something to the bottom of that search page result, and Google even tells you, people who searched for this also searched for these things.
So it’s again, telling you what topics. What content that you should be generating because that’s what people are looking for on Google.
